Advocate of the Year

This award is presented to a Principal, Professional, or Associate member of BOMA/GLA for grassroots advocacy on behalf of the association. Grassroots advocacy is characterized by dedicated commitment to the Association's advocacy goals through active membership on subject matter committees, support of local, state or national advocacy efforts, or other policy and political activities on behalf of the commercial real estate industry and its aims.

Contributions that are considered include a broad range of participation including, but not limited to, supporting the coordination of advocacy meetings, providing background expertise, raising issue awareness with fellow members and the public, or other activities that help the Association advance its advocacy goals.

This award shall be bestowed on a nominee who is a current member in good standing.
