Women in CRE Committee
Each year, BOMA/GLA Women in CRE—formerly known as Women and Wine—hosts one of the premier gatherings for women in commercial real estate. This signature event brings together industry professionals for an evening of cocktails, engaging discussions, and meaningful networking opportunities.
The Women in CRE Committee is responsible for planning and supporting the successful execution of the event, including event programming, promotion, sponsorship development, and attendee engagement. Event committees commonly assist staff with fundraising, marketing, and logistical planning to ensure successful programs and strong participation.

Responsibilities
Committee members support the planning and execution of the event by:
- Attending and participating in scheduled committee meetings
- Representing the committee at association events
- Participating on a subcommittee to support event planning and execution
- Promoting the Women in CRE event to members and industry professionals
- Securing table discussion leads for the event program
- Securing event sponsorships to support the fundraising goal
Meeting Schedule
The Women in CRE Committee meets once every three weeks via Zoom.
Time Commitment
Approximately 12 hours during the planning period.
Committee meetings are approximately one hour per month, with additional time for subcommittee meetings as needed.
All committee members are expected to attend the event.
