Retired Membership
Retired Membership is available to individuals who have fully retired from active employment in the commercial real estate industry and wish to remain connected to BOMA/GLA.
This membership category is based on eligibility, not recognition. Applicants must meet defined criteria related to retirement status and years of membership.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Retired Membership, an individual must:
- Be fully retired from active employment in the commercial real estate industry
- Have maintained at least 15 years of membership with BOMA/GLA prior to retirement
- Have been a member in good standing at the time of retirement
Important Considerations
- Retired Membership is an eligibility-based category, not an honorary designation
- Applications are evaluated based on verification of criteria, not subjective factors
- The Board of Directors confirms eligibility and approves all applications
Membership Status and Dues
Retired Members:
- Pay annual dues of $250
- Retain voting rights within the association
- Remain part of the BOMA/GLA community and activities

You will be asked to confirm your retirement status and provide information about your membership history.
All applications are submitted to and reviewed by the Board of Directors as part of the formal evaluation and approval process.
