BOMA/GLA's Action Center gives members a direct voice in the legislative process by making it easy to send letters of support or opposition to elected officials, participate in advocacy surveys, and stay informed through timely legislative alerts. Member feedback helps guide BOMA/GLA's advocacy strategy, ensuring our positions reflect the real-world impacts proposed legislation would have on commercial real estate.

Together, our collective advocacy has helped stop harmful proposals, including commercial vacancy taxes and the Los Angeles Parking Occupancy Tax increase, while influencing legislation on leasing, janitorial regulations, warehouse development, homelessness funding, and other key issues affecting our industry.
